Technology 3 - Scanner Lineart

This activity explored the different modes and settings on a scanner, the lineart and grayscale colour modes to be specific, and the resolution of each scan. 

First, we had to pick a purely black and white image - no grey tones - and scan it at three different resolutions (The lowest to highest resolution our scanners could scan, mine being 75, 300 and 600 dpi) using the 'lineart' mode.

Second, we had to pick a photo to scan three times using the grayscale mode, each time increasing the resolution.

Lastly, we had to create a pen drawing on a paper towel or serviette and scan it using the highest resolution settings with the lineart mode. Here are my results:
