My Inspiration

Here are the 5 main designers in which I find inspiration:

Richard Perez
I really like his use and take on flat design, making it visually interesting while still remaining 2D. He uses simple shapes to create an image and a colour theme to suit. I tend to use flat themes in my own work because the style interests me and I think there is a lot of potential in this style.

Lauren Hom
I really like all of Lauren Hom's typography because she makes even the simplest of work look beautiful. The quotes she chooses are reflected in her imagery and the designs are so intricate.

Dana Tanamachi
I like Dana Tanamachi's work because while it is kept simple (There's that word again!) all of her designs are in-your-face and eye catching. She uses colour and typography in such a way that draws your attention to the image which is really important in design.

Nicholas Keiser
I really enjoy the way Nicholas Keiser uses ink in his tattoos, both design and execution. His designs are always exact and intricate with lots of shading, dotwork, bold lines which really catch your eye.

Kchilt (Deviantart)
I really like this deviantart user, Kchilt, because it is both interesting and visually beautiful. Their style is very cartoon-like and fun which I tend to use in my own work as well. I like their colour themes and overall cohesiveness in their work which really adds to the design.

Thanks for reading!
